The Bylaws of the Residence Hall Association
The Bylaws, along with the Constitution, govern the structure of the Residence Hall Association of Missouri State University. Arranged into nineteen articles, the Bylaws provide procedures for the day-to-day operation of RHA.
Meeting Procedures - Articles I-IV establish meeting times and places, meeting format, flow of business, and instruction for absence-related removal of General Assembly members.
Representation Procedures - Articles V-IX describe use of the RHA office, Executive Board elections, the Presidential Election Committee, appointment of SGA Senators to represent RHA, and appointment of representatives of RHA to ad-hoc positions.
Document Procedures - Articles X-XI explain rules for formatting memos and creation of publicity.
Budgeting Procedures - Articles XII-XIII outline budgeting guidelines and the RHA Supportive Grants Service.
Reporting Procedures - Articles XIV-XVI guide creation of program reports, monthly reports, and the RHA website.
Voting Procedures - Articles XVII-XIX direct parliamentary procedure, voting, and changes to the Constitution and Bylaws.
