As the conference approaches, we've been answering questions from NCCs and delegates from around the region. Questions can be submitted from the website or emailed to ma_regionals@nacurh.org. Answers to questions we've been asked are listed below:
I was just wondering when registration for MACURH would close. I am working on my fall training schedule and would like to know when we need to start recruiting for the conference next fall.
Registration is open. Registration will close October 4. Late registration will be offered until October 8. Program registration deadline will be October 15.
I am in the process of preparing for the conference this fall and I was wondering if there had been a delegation cap number set?
We will have a delegation cap of 10 students and 2 advisors, totaling 12 people. If your school is bidding for MACURH 2011, 10 more people can attend for a bid team.
What is the password for NCCs to register their delegations?
An email that was sent to all NCCs provided the password for delegate registration. If you are an NCC and did not receive this email, please email us at ma_regionals@nacurh.org
Why are you requesting a billing or mailing address for our campus during registration? Aren't invoices being sent electronically?
Yes, invoices are being sent electronically; however, some university financial services departments require a billing address be provided on all invoices even if they are electronic. We know that not all universities require this, but we are asking it from everyone to be consistent and safe.
I know that there is a potential for alternates to attend the conference. Is there a cap on alternates allowed?
The delegation cap is 10 students per institution, plus 2 advisors. After you submit those individuals, you can submit as many alternates as you would like. The alternates will be submitted into the same registration form as our other delegates. Be sure to type "alternate" into the registration form in the "other" blank for each individual registration form for the alternates. After late registration closes on October 8, we will contact each school that submitted alternates and will accept them first-come, first-serve basis as space allows.
