Art Endsley has done a little bit of everything. He has a variety of accomplishments and has been through many trials and tribulations in his personal life, especially in the business world. From his experiences, he knows exactly what it takes to reach goals, take leadership positions just one step further, and have a passion for life. He couldn't be more excited to go to MACURH 2010 at Missouri State and share it with all of you!
Arthur Endsley has had a wide variety of experiences. His leadership positions started in his college years at the University of Missouri. In his time on campus, he was the first sophomore to ever run for a chairman position, earning that position and holding it again his junior year. Mr. Endsley entered college with intentions to go into agriculture, but he eventually realized that agriculture was not the path that he wanted to take. After leading a philanthropy event for Muscular Dystrophy that resulted in the biggest donation ever made in Missouri, he realized he wanted to be a part of sales.
Art was hired at Cross Midwest Tire in 1991. He started with absolutely nothing, even using his first paycheck to buy business attire. They gave him a position to work on the marketing and growth of the company. Mr. Endsley took the position and soared with itัthe company now has 17 locations, 35 salespeople, and is bringing in 96 million dollars a year. He now holds the position of Vice President for the company that has sky rocketed into one of the privately owned, top ten power companies in the nation.
Art has been extremely successful in his business and his profession, but he has also made an impact at home. He has served as Vice President for Orrick's School District for six years and has driven many drastic changes in the area. He's been a huge force on policies in the district as well as extra-curricular involvement. He's a huge voice in their athletic department, reinforcing their positions as leaders on the field and in and out of school. His passion and determination is for student success is contagious. Whether it is in the classroom, athletics, or any extracurricular activities, he has been there to push for improvement and inspire the youth.
Recently, Mr. Endsley became a pastor. He speaks in front of small, rural churches and large religious ceremonies and events. Because of his love of speaking and inspiring others, Art and his wife, Christy, are in the process of starting their own motivational speaking company.
Mr. Endsley has three beautiful children and lives in the town of Orrick, Missouri. He brings an excitement to taking the steps to get where you want to be. He speaks to trigger thoughts and goals in leaders no matter what the position may be. He has an array of experience, and his passion lies with young adults. Missouri State cannot wait for Art Endsley come on down to MACURH 2010 and inspire all of us!
